Spain U21 dressingroom celebrations

People are already hating on Sergi. Mama bear mode’s on bitches.
If you have only watched him play once or twice you can sit down and stfu. If you’re saying he’s not talented enough, go ahead and tell a person near you to slap you… with a hammer or shovel if possible. He is more than capable of handling our central midfield when Iniesta needs some rest (ignoring Cesc exists for a bit).
He’s versatile (adapts to any position in midfield) and reliable, as well as a play maker (uses his brain for the game) always creating spaces, creating chances, always running up and down the field looking for opportunities (great stamina), impeccable offensively and doesn’t shy away defensively. His pass accuracy is great. Technique’s A+. All he needs is polishing and he could easily become one of the greatest midfielders.
Why do you think Pep made him debut in a motherfucking champions semi-final against Madrid? Do you think Barça would keep him if he were a mediocre player? Still not fucking convinced at this point that Sergi Roberto Carnicer is a gem of a player? Well watch him play for once and tell me how right I am.
Leaving this quote from Pep here ( not even going to translate it, bye)“Sergi Roberto es un jugador con unas perspectivas muy importantes de cara al futuro. Luis Enrique le ha dado mucha confianza y es un jugador vital en el filial.
Es un futbolista que tiene algo diferente, con buena llegada y muy desequilibrante por dentro. Es un chico extraordinario, con una gran perspectiva de ir hacia arriba” - Pep Guardiola
